Beginner route
Start with a repeatable route: learn needs, protect growth, and leave every risky fight with an exit.
Pick for the route
Your first creature should match the biome you understand, not only a screenshot or a tier label. Note its movement feel, food source, water access, and whether it can escape a larger threat.
Make a needs loop
Before leaving a safe area, identify one food location and one water location. Run the loop once without fighting. This gives you a baseline for the Survival Run Planner.
Protect growth
Growth rewards patience. Avoid crossing open terrain while low on food, water, or health, and do not turn a small encounter into a long chase.
Use groups deliberately
A group can improve awareness and coordination, but it can also attract conflict. Agree on a regroup point and a retreat direction before traveling.
Review every death
Ask whether the cause was route, needs, positioning, combat, weather, or a status effect. Change one variable on the next run so the lesson is measurable.
Field checklist
Observe
Record the starting condition and the exact route.
Buffer
Leave room for a detour or a fight.
Recheck
Repeat after patches, growth, or weather changes.

FAQ
What should a new player do first?
Choose a creature you can control, learn where food and water are, watch your growth stage, and avoid taking a long fight until you know your escape route.
Does the tier list rank every creature?
It is a role-based reference, not an official ranking. The page explains the survival conditions behind each label and leaves unsupported values unranked.
